Therapy from a private space that feels comfortable.

Online or tele-therapy is offered through platforms such as Zoom or Skype. It can be helpful when travelling is difficult, privacy is a concern, or a client prefers the convenience of attending from a comfortable private space.

Choose a private space where you can speak openly.
Make sure you are comfortable and have water or tissues nearby.
Check that your internet connection and device work before the session.
Start with audio first if video feels uncomfortable initially.

How mental health assessments usually work.

Mental health assessments may be used in legal matters, court cases, adoption processes, workplace competency or fitness situations, and injury-on-duty trauma contexts.

1

The client completes several assessments or tests, usually taking one to two hours.

2

An interview is conducted with the client, usually around one hour.

3

The assessment results are evaluated and a report is prepared.

4

The report is sent to the client or the authority that requested the assessment.
